Built in a bygone era, the property operated for decades as a zero-frills motor lodge. Owners Stephanie & Chris Herndon bought this timeworn classic in 2021 and have since transformed it into an experiential escape where nostalgia and modern comfort collide.
The landscape feels off-the-grid, yet it’s just 5 minutes from the historic square. Wimberley, despite its growing selection of elevated eateries & boutiques, has retained a quirky vibe that blends old & new.
